When booking an appointment at Leigh Glow Clinic, you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
At Leigh Glow Clinic, we aim to be as fair as possible. We understand that life happens — however, our booking policies apply equally to all reasons for cancellations or changes. As a small independent business, last-minute cancellations or no-shows have a significant impact, so we truly appreciate your understanding and support.
Cancellations & Booking Fees
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all appointments. This varies depending on the treatment and will be deducted from the total cost on the day.
For consultations and patch tests, a fixed fee of £15 is required at the time of booking. This covers your consultation, patch test, room usage, machine use, and practitioner’s time. It is not deducted from future treatments.
If you attend your patch test as scheduled and follow all preparation guidelines (e.g. no fake tan, correct timing, suitable skin condition), and are later deemed unsuitable due to a reaction, your future booking fees will be refunded — however, the consultation fee remains non-refundable.
If you cancel or do not attend, your £15 booking fee will be lost.
Suitability for Treatment
It is your responsibility to check you are suitable before booking.
We cannot treat clients who:
- Are under 18
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have certain skin or medical conditions (past or present)
- Have an active tan or are wearing fake tan
- Are taking medications that make laser treatment unsuitable
If you book without confirming your suitability and later cannot go ahead, your booking fee will either:
- Be held on file for future use
- Go towards another eligible treatment
- Be forfeited if cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice or no suitable alternative is possible
Booking fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Free Patch Test Policy
If you’re an existing client needing a switch to a different laser during your course, we’ll provide a complimentary patch test.
This is only valid if:
- You arrive on time
- You have no tan/fake tan
- No new medications or changes in your health
If you’re late, unsuitable, or miss the appointment, a £15 patch test fee will apply for rebooking.
Switching from Laser to IPL or vice versa (e.g. for facial rejuvenation) is not included in the free patch test policy and will be chargeable.
Prepaid Packages & Course Offers
For any packages (e.g. 6 for the price of 5), full payment or a split-payment plan must be arranged before or at your first session.
Each treatment in the course is still considered to have a booking fee value. If you:
- Reschedule with less than 72 hours’ notice
- Do not attend
- Arrive too late to complete your treatment
- Are unsuitable on arrival (e.g. tanned or medicated)
…you will lose the equivalent booking fee value for that session, and must rebook online and pay a new booking fee.
Rescheduling Terms
- Over 72 hours’ notice: You may reschedule once free of charge
- Second reschedule, even with notice: 50% of the booking fee will be lost
- Less than 24 hours’ notice: 100% of the booking fee is lost
Booking fees will roll over if sufficient notice is given (72+ hours), but are never refundable.
Technician Availability
We may need to reallocate your appointment to a different practitioner to accommodate staffing changes. Rest assured, all our team are fully trained and your treatment will be carried out with the same care and professionalism. We are not obliged to notify you of this change in advance.
Pregnancy Policy
We advise not starting treatments if you are actively trying to conceive. If you fall pregnant during a course, results may be affected, and treatments will need to be paused.
We cannot treat clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Cancellation/rescheduling policies still apply.
Lateness Policy
If you’re running late, please call us on 07971 854751 as soon as possible.
- If there is enough time left, we’ll do what we can in the time remaining, but cannot guarantee the full treatment.
- If there isn’t enough time, it will be classed as a no-show, and your booking fee will be lost.
Shorter appointments are particularly time-sensitive, so please allow extra travel time.
We cannot reduce your fee based on reduced time caused by lateness.
Extra Services
Last-minute add-ons are usually not possible due to time constraints. Please let us know in advance if you would like to extend or modify your treatment. Discounts for bundled services must be arranged ahead of time.
Payments
We accept cash or card only.
Contact Information
It is your responsibility to update us if your contact details change, including any alternative ways we can reach you.
Client Conduct
We expect all clients to be respectful and kind. If any abusive, inappropriate or threatening behaviour occurs, you will be asked to leave and refused further services. No refunds will be issued in such cases. We reserve the right to refuse custom at any time.
